    Rei-Lux Benelux is een onderdeel van de Duitse Rei-Lux Group. Deze is al sinds 1988 actief in de openbare verlichting. Van de 40 patenten hebben er 20 betrekking op stabiliteitsmetingen, met name op innovatieve, statische en dynamische 3D-meettechnieken. Rei-Lux optimaliseert deze meettechnieken voortdurend met als doel de veiligheid rond openbare verlichting te verhogen. Innovatieve 3D-meting zorgt voor meer veiligheid en minder kosten Aan de openbare weg staan talloze masten die dienen als drager voor verlichting, bewegwijzering, verkeersregeling en reclame. Ze staan letterlijk bloot aan invloeden van o.a. weer en wind, zure en/of verontreinigde grond, verkeerstrillingen, strooizout, zwerfstroom en hondenurine. Aluminium en stalen masten kunnen zowel ondergronds als van binnenuit zodanig worden aangetast dat zij een direct gevaar opleveren voor haar omgeving. Voorheen dacht men dit te kunnen waarnemen middels periodieke visuele controles. Meten is dringend noodzakelijk... 7% van de gemeten masten in Nederland is potentieel gevaarlijk... Rei-Lux heeft 20 patenten ten behoeve van een intelligente, 3D-meettechniek die als enige in staat is alle mogelijke gebreken aan te tonen van onder het maaiveld tot de top van de mast (armatuur). Bijvoorbeeld scheurvorming onder het maaiveld of plastische vervorming bij het luikje, maar ook gegevens over zwakke verdichting rondom de mast of slecht bevestigde uitleggers.
